Squirrel/rat scratching noise above 1st floor and below 2nd floor of house?

Hello,


we live in a house in north GA and have recently hired a pest control company to seal the gaps in the attic that were causing squirrels to get in the attic. Now, the rats and squirrels in the attic are gone, but I can still hear noise coming from above the 1st floor of the house.





The house is built on a slab and there is no crawl space. How do the rodents get in above the 1st floor. The exterminator company is not able to determine this.





Any help on this?

In any house there is always going to be areas that rodents can get to rather easily. Because there are areas where the pipes and electrical wires have to go, and from there they can get just about anywhere. what you need to do is get your exterminators to put a rodent deterrant so that the animals will leave and after they are gone use spray foam and close ANY small gap or hole arround the outside of your house.Squirrel/rat scratching noise above 1st floor and below 2nd floor of house?
