my exterminator said there is never ust one squirrel... there's usually 3 or 4, so he put baited traps (like a cage) at the edge of the hole on the edge of the roof line where the squirrels got in, every day for 5 days and he caught one of them every day for all 4 days. The first day they wouldn't go near it but starting on the 2nd day they would go into the trap for the food before they went into my house so the trap door would close behind them and lock them inside.He then exterminated them. Wear huge glove, be careful and good luck.
In the house as in where you live or in the attic? A small live trap might work. A cat might do the trick. Rat poison sold at a feed store in little bars will kill him and then you have a dead squirrel in the house. Animal repellant found in a feed store might work.





Find where he is entering and watch for him to leave then block the hole with screen or steel wool. Hurry for in a month there will be the patter of little sqirrel feet around.
a cat will solve the problem.keep the cat out door,most of the time, and bring inside,some times will make sure squirrel, that they are not welcome.

get a trap they have traps for squirrels too.well they are beaver traps see if you can find one and catch the darn thing you will catch it if you can find a trap just put some food in the trap and bam your there otherwise i wouldnt know how you would chase it out of your home.how did it get in let it get out the same way you might notice it gone when you do go plug up the place were it got in so it doesnt come back again.
